Online poker giant PartyPoker.com has announced the launch of the PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker, a new televised poker event.
The series, developed by Matchroom Sport, will feature 12 of the world's best players including Dave ‘Devilfish’

Online poker giant PartyPoker.com has announced the launch of the PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker, a new televised poker event.
The series, developed by Matchroom Sport, will feature 12 of the world's best players including Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott, Tony G, Andy Black and Vicky Coren, playing in a unique league format for a $500,000 pot.
Each player will play six times in the preliminary stages. The leading four players will then progress to the final table with the next four battling it out in heads-up matches for the final two seats. Each player will buy-in for $20,000, with PartyPoker.com adding $260,000 to the final table prize pool.
Phil Hellmuth, who is also set to appear said, 'I love the UK and feel at home there, so I am really looking forward to Premier League Poker. It's always challenging to match wits with the world's best poker players but I'm coming for the title - make no mistake about that!'
The league launches on February 26th in Maidstone, Kent, UK and will be televised later in the year.
