Above and beyond the hard hours put in at the table trying to make a few dollars, undoubtedly some of you will be concerning yourself with the movers and shakers in online gaming board rooms and not just which celebrity player got beat comprehensively by a rookie last weekend. If that is the case, it may be of interest that PartyGaming have apparently found a successor for their soon-to-be-departed CEO, Richard Segal.
Segal, who announced his resignation last month after refusing to move his family to PartyGaming’s base in the British outpost of Gibraltar, leaves on June 1 and passes his job to Mitch Garber, head of net payment provider Fire One.
Garber, a Canadian national, is reported to have no problem with moving to Gibraltar and will certainly not be complaining about his $9 million pay package ($8 million of which comes in stock options).
