CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com, an online gaming industry resource, announced on Saturday that they have reinstated the certification of Party Partners, otherwise known as Party Gaming plc.
PartyGaming plc is the proprietor behind the largest online poker website, Party Poker. Reinstatement was issued only after PartyGaming posted a response to growing concern over the payment of affiliate commissions involved in the acquisition of EmpirePoker.com, a former PartyGaming licensee.
The original $250m acquisition terms announced on February 15 2006 included migrating Empire Poker players to a consolidated platform that no longer honoured the affiliate relationship that initiated the player relationship.
Party Gaming has since posted the a statement on the casinoaffiliateprograms.com forum, saying that “any affiliate who had Empire Online Limited trackers that generated income up to and including February 14 2006 should contact Empire Online Limited (EOL)” and that “PartyGaming will continue to provide performance stats for affiliates/old campaigns to EOL to help them resolve affiliate liabilities and pay them accordingly.”
They also said: “Starting February 15 2006, PartyPartners has been working with affiliates and has been issuing fresh trackers to promote Empire Poker. These trackers will be paid by PartyGaming as per terms agreed. Please contact PartyPartners for issuing fresh trackers for Empire Poker.'
