Partouche Poker Tour Day 1a complete

Tuesday, 13 September 2011

The Partouche Poker Tour €8,500 Main Event has begun with Lionel Anton leading the Day 1a survivors after a fast and furious leg of poker action. Last year, Vanessa Selbst won this event for more than €1.3m and currently she is doing a good job of defending her title – she finished with 86,200; good for 22nd in chips.

Other big names still alive and with chips include Arnaud Mattern, Joseph Cassidy, John Eames and Alex Kravchenko. A total of 244 players entered Day 1a of the event with 139 surviving to make it through to Day 2. Last year, Vanessa Selbst defeated a field of 764 players to take down the €1.3m first prize and cap off one of the best tournament runs we’ve seen.

We’ll be bringing you all the action from the Partouche Poker Tour as it happens so be sure to check back over the following days.
