Paradise Poker has started running satellites for Showdown Poker Tour in which players can win seats at the next Showdown event in Denmark.
The event takes place in Denmark’s oldest casino, Casino Marienlyst in Elsinore, and will be held between October 19 and 22. ‘Warm-up’ cash games take place on October 19 and tournament officially begins on October 20. Paradise Poker’s online qualifier package includes both the € 5,000+550 buy-in and travel expenses.
The Showdown Poker Tour operates with the tagline “truly independent” and aims to provide players with quality venues and player-friendly tournament structures.
'Since we are not owned by a large poker site like other poker tours,” said Teddy Vendersbo and Soren Hansen from Showdown Poker Tour, “it is naturally both important and great to experience this kind of support from a huge site like Paradise Poker.'
