Paddy Power has now added “outright betting” and “to make final table” markets for the European Poker Tour’s fourth outing of the 2006/7 season in Dublin.
The Dublin European Poker Tour (EPT) event, held in the Regency Hotel from October 26 to 29, is one of the most popular on the tour, selling out last year and increasing its capacity to 500 this year.
”We lost our shirts at the last big Dublin tournament, the Irish Open and while we are hoping to make a few euro this time around we’d love to see an Irish player win this,” said Paddy Power, head of communications for the Irish bookie.
Last year’s winner, Mats Gavatin, took home the first prize of €317,000. Other notable names that made the final table in Dublin last year include Michael Greco and David ‘Dpommo’ Pomroy.
Paddy Power will announce further markets for the Dublin EPT, including match bets, group betting, and female to make the final table shortly. It is also currently pricing up markets for each EPT leg which includes stopovers in London, Dublin, Copenhagen, Baden, Deauville and Monte Carlo.
