The three-day event will get under way with a special drinks reception on Friday night followed by the $500 no limit hold em event on Saturday. The field will be made up of 150 players making the prize pool a very juicy $75,000. Sunday will see a $150 Terminator Bounty special with $50 up for grabs with each elimination and $100 going into the main prize pool.


PKR.com Marketing Manager Erika Schwartz said, “The countdown for PKR Live V begins! It’s great that for our fifth outing we have a brand new venue and some fantastic new events in store for the players. It’s a weekend we all look forward to, players and staff alike, and we’re planning to make this the best one yet.”


Qualifiers for what is often dubbed the most friendly event on the poker calendar are up and running at PKR.com with satellites starting from just $4.95.
