Award winning 3D poker room PKR.com has announced details of its latest PKR Live event which will take place at the Fox Poker Club in London from 19-22 May.
Organisers have revealed that this year's PKR Live will feature a number of changes to previous tournaments, most notably an increase in the buy-in from £500 to £750. PKR Live VI will also be open to the wider poker playing public and not just players at PKR.com. The event will take place over four days with two opening day flights each capped at 150 players. The prize pool set to top £200,000.Marketing director at PKR, Simon Prodger said, “In response to player feedback we are pleased to announce the bigger and better PKR Live VI. The tournament will stand alone as the capital’s dominant event in May, offering a fantastic tournament that will suit a wide range of players.” Andy Sherwood won PKR Live V in November pocketing $20,000 after qualifying via a $27 satellite.Satellites for the popular series start this week.
