PCA $5k shootout final table set

PCA $5k shootout final table set

Saturday, 15 January 2011

36 players started day 2 of the NAPT $5k Bounty Shootout at PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and now, after two separate flights, our final table of six has been confirmed.

Andrew Chen, Shaun Deeb, Michael Binger, Marko Neumann, Scott Baumstein and William Pilossop all won their heats yesterday and are guaranteed at least $50,000 with a further $25,000 on offer to the player who nets the most bounties. Shaun Deeb leads the bounty hunt so far, eliminating seven players in his opening two matches.

There was sibling rivalry on show in the second round too as Michael Binger was seated next to younger brother Nick. Binger senior came out on top this time, his AK crushing junior's K8.

Joining Nick Binger on the rail on day 2 were a host of big names including Barry Greenstein, Dario Minieri and Ville Wahlbeck. The Finn was especially unlucky to go, eventually finishing runner up in his heat after his aces were cracked by William Pilossoph's Ad8d.

The action resumes at 4pm tomorrow UK time where our winner will add a further $200,000 to his banrkroll.
