Only 24 players remain at EPT Monte Carlo

Thursday, 29 April 2010

American player Kevin Eyster leads the remaining 24 players at the PokerStars EPT grand final in Monte Carlo as they collectively look towards the final table and the €1.7m first prize.

Neil Channing, Chris Moneymaker, Teddy Sheringham, Lex Veldhuis and Vicky Coren all made the money with decent stacks; none are returning tomorrow for Day 4 after hitting the rail.

Day 2 chip leader Nick Schulman is barely hanging on to his once unfathomable stack, now he is one of the shorter stacks with less than 600,000 left to bag. Nicolas Chouity, Jean Francois Talbot, Manchester's Matt Perrins and chip leader Kevin Eyster have all crossed the 2,000,000 milestone with Eyster leading on 2,768,000.

Join us tomorrow as they play down to the final table where each player will win at least €200,000.
