Innovative 3D poker site PKR has been rewarded for its efforts to revolutionise the online gambling market.
Overtaking large rivals Bodog, the site (which is less than three years old) also received a second Hitwise award for Hotshot Operator of the Year. They did this by claiming a huge share of the UK online poker market, eclipsing stiff competition such as Betfair or William Hill.PKR.com Marketing Director Simon Prodger said, “We are very pleased to win this award, which is representative of the outstanding growth we continue to experience. We have never taken US bets and our UK user-base represents our most local community – to achieve this ranking twice in one year is fantastic.” PKR is now the 14th largest online poker site, however most of the sites ranked ahead are networks, meaning that PKR have done very well to make a showing with just one site.
