Last week saw the launch of a new online resource specifically tailored for online poker affiliates.
PokerAffiliatePrograms.com provides affiliate marketers who promote online poker with expert articles, tools, community forums, specialized content for players and program alerts.
“There is no doubt that poker is hot right now and will continue to grow, says Lou Fabiano, founder of PokerAffiliatePrograms.com. “Online poker operators are expected to rake in over $20 billion dollars annually by 2010. With the right resources and guidance, poker affiliates can command an enormous part of that revenue stream.”
According to DigitalJournal.com, online poker revenues have grown from $82.7 million in 2001 to $2.4 billion (all numbers US) in 2005. Every day, 1.8 million people play poker online and last year gamblers on poker sites spent more than $60 billion. PokerAffiliatePrograms.com aims to provide the tools and resources for poker affiliates to succeed in this increasingly lucrative market.
Poker affiliates work with poker operators online to build traffic to poker rooms, normally in exchange for revenue sharing or flat commissions.
