Children's charity One To One is better off to the tune of £110,000 thanks to the latest Omar Sharif Poker and Backgammon Tournament which took place at swanky London restaurant and nightclub Sketch last week.

The event, which was sponsored by Full Tilt Poker, attracted a host of big names including Scream star Neve Campbell, comedian Ed Byrne, TV regulars Hardeep Singh Kholi, Douglas Henshall and Navin Chowdry plus poker players Karl Mahrenholz, Roland De Wolfe, Roberto Romanello and James Akenhead.

Mark Bramley won the poker tournament with defending champion Beverley Pace and GUKPT winner Michael Greco also making the final table.

A charity auction boosted the money raised with the Hit Squad's Akenhead and Mahrenholz dipping into their pockets for a stay at a luxury golf villa in Portugal.
