Bookmaker Boylesports has opened up a book on today's BlackBeltPoker London Live with the double WSOP Main Event finalist James Akenhead installed as the 33/1 favourite.

Fellow Hit Squadee Praz Bansi and PokerStars' newest pro Julian Thew are next at 40/1 with Black Belt Poker founders and Bluff Europe regulars Neil Channing and Nik Persaud at 50/1 and 66/1 respectively.


Other familiar names in the field include 2007 Irish Open and WSOP bracelet winner Marty Smith at 50/1, PartyPoker pro Ian Frazer at 66/1, Marbella Kid Paul Zimbler and Hendon Mobsters Ross and Barny Boatman at 100/1.


Day 1A of the sold out event gets under way at The Vic at noon today with a second opening day starting tomorrow, again at midday. The action draws to a conclusion on Sunday with the winner set to walk away with a first prize of $15,000.
