Odds announced for World Poker Open V

Bookmaker Party Bets has released its odds for the forthcoming World Poker Open V. Heading the 48-runner field are Tom ‘Durrr’ Dwan and double WSOP bracelet winner JC Tran at 12/1.

The British challenge is lead by November Nine finalist James Akenhead and Triple Crown winner Roland de Wolfe who are both on offer at 14/1.


Luke ‘_Fullflush_’ Schwartz and Neil Channing are available at 15/1, as is defending champion Marty Smith. Phil Laak at 18/1 and Andy Black at 20/1 both merit attention too. If you fancy an outsider then single table specialist Ian Frazer at 25/1 and TV regular Liam Flood at 33/1 could both be worth a punt.


The winner of each of the six heats, plus the winner of a runner up turbo will go through to a grand final on 15th October where the winner will take home a first prize of $250,000. The action kicks off at the Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair on 11th October.
