October Niner Finds a Sponsor

October Niner Finds a Sponsor

Thursday, 18 October 2012

WSOP October Niner Jeremy Ausmus has finally penned a sponsorship deal with less than two weeks to go until he competes for the biggest prize in poker.

While opportunities to make some extra money through branding have declined since the concept of the November Nine was introduced in 2008 (due to many poker companies having to leave the US market), the chance for players to bag support from businesses outside of poker has increased.

Indeed, although Ausmus will start this year’s final table as the short stack, he has found a way to boost his earnings in the form of social media company TTAGIT Social Networks Inc. Formed with the concept of allowing people to comment and discuss topics presented on any website at the touch of button, TTAGIT’s platform hopes to add another layer to the growing social networking tapestry we now access every time we go online.

Commenting on his new sponsor, Ausmus said: “TTAGIT.com, a revolutionary leading-edge social media company, is ready to win the world over just like me in the world series of poker”.

Ausmus isn’t the only one who’ll be emblazoned with the logos of some large companies when the action kicks off on the 28th of this month. Steve Gee will walk out waving the PokerAce banner, while Jesse Sylvia will don a 888poker t-shirt and try to go a few steps better than the site’s other pro, Sam Holden, went.
