November Niner Saout Leads Partouche Poker Tour

Friday, 4 September 2009

November Niner Antoine Saout has been dominating the Partouche Poker Tour, holding the chip lead for three successive days in the latest reason to think that this year’s November Nine might actually be a bit good.

Saout has competition going into Day 3, however – although he’s built a mighty stack of 535,000; Swedish pro and Full Tilt representative Michael Tureniec is right up his backside with 479,000.

It’s not just this year’s November Nine proving themselves, either – Ivan Demidov is still well in play with an above-average stack of 156,000. Other pros heading the Day 3 lineup are JJ Liu and Alex Kravchenko.

Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, the WSOP should be honoured – the PPT has also made the decision to delay the final table, meaning that the players will grind down to the final nine tomorrow before returning on November 21. This means Saout, who recently signed to Everest Poker, could find himself as chip leader in a November Nine line-up yet.
