Nguyen wins UKIPT Series 3

Dinh Tuan Nguyen has won the latest leg of the UKIPT Series. The Vietnamese player outlasted an internationally flavoured field of 464 runners from 49 countries who took to the tables at the Hippodrome Casino in London over the weekend.
The 28-year-old pocketed a first prize of £15,348 for his efforts as well as a seat into the UKIPT Champion of Champions event. After Britain's Salman Safdar was eliminated in sixth Nguyen, Frank Bastow, Jesus Espinosa Fernandez, Michail Voulagkas and Daniel Bonfield agreed a chop with £3,500 left on the table.
Nguyen scooped the extra cash, the trophy and the bonus seat after defeating Daniel Bonfield heads up, sealing victory when his 10-7 came from behind to beat Bonfield's A8.

The UKIPT proper returns to London this week with the first of two opening flights in the £1,000+£100 Main Event starting at the Grand Connaught Rooms on Wednesday. There's still a chance to qualify online at PokerStars with satellites starting from just 55c.
