New statement from Full Tilt, job losses announced

Thursday, 15 September 2011

Up to 250 people could lose their jobs at Full Tilt Poker's marketing and technology services provider, Pocket Kings. In a statement released late yesterday, Pocket Kings revealed that it needed to cut costs by €12m with the savings coming from a redundancy programme. A total of 700 people are employed at the firm's site in Cherrywood, Dublin.

Players hoping for new information on the repayment of funds or any potential new investment at Full Tilt were left disappointed as the latest statement revealed nothing new in either respect.

It was also announced yesterday that the Alderney Gambling Control Commission hearing into Full Tilt's licence suspension on Monday will be held behind closed doors.
