New features added to iPoker software... finally

Thursday, 5 November 2009

Just as we thought PokerStars and Full Tilt were running away with all the online poker players, Playtech, the company behind the iPoker network, has unveiled a host of new player friendly features for their sites that should keep some of the fish away from the dangers of the open ocean... for now anyway.

The new look interface contains a redesigned lobby, a multi-currency option that allows games to be played in US Dollars, GB Pounds and Euros as well as a cashier-linked auto top up feature. Other new tools include a hand for hand mode function approaching the bubble of tournaments, time bank facilities and improvements to the buddy and note taking procedures.

Danny Frishman, Playtech's Head of Poker, notes: "We are delighted to introduce the new Playtech Poker version which includes exciting, innovative ideas that enrich our poker offering. Playtech is dedicated to anticipating the needs of its licensees and their players and we aim to continue improving our poker product, to ensure we remain at the forefront of developments in the international online poker arena. This is only the first step in a far reaching overhaul of the client. In the next version we look forward to revamping the poker table and introducing a wealth of additional exciting features and tools."

Sites on the iPoker network include Paddy Power Poker, Bet365, Betfred, William Hill, Blue Square, Boyle Poker, Titan Poker and VC Poker.
