New PKR Social to arrive at Fox Poker Club next month

It’s always nice for online poker sites to get the regular customers out of their bedrooms and into some live poker, which is exactly what next-generation site PKR.com are doing with their next PKR Social, a live event taking place at the Fox Poker Club in March. Expect Sit n’ Go madness, a $130 tournament featuring bounties and plenty of free drinks.

The weekend of March 25-26 is the time to keep free in your schedules but you need to qualify via PKR.com first. Fortunately every day there are several satellites on offer from $1.88 entry tournaments paying one in ten a seat at PKR Social, to a $17.85 buy-in where one in eight will win a seat.


Marketing Manager Erika Schwartz Poole commented, “This is the first PKR purpose built tournament which celebrates PKR's famous community spirit, and provides players the chance to meet up and have a great weekend, as well as possibly come home with a title.”


Friday sees the return of Sit n‘ Go madness where players attend for non-stop STTs and free drinks; Saturday sees a one-day $130 NL tournament with not only a $4,000 first prize but also bounties on the heads of PKR Pros and PKR staff.
