Waterland Private Equity has boosted its Dutch land-based gaming offering with the addition of 11 gaming arcades from Krijco Amusement.

"We are extremely pleased with the addition of Krijco to our gaming group,” said Eric Olders (CEO JVH gaming). “It is a perfect geographic addition to our business. We expect to create a lot of synergies and a great co-operation within the group."

Waterland already has a strong presence in the Dutch market as the majority shareholder in the JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group, which operates 53 casinos (Jack's Casino and Flash Casinos) throughout The Netherlands.

"With this acquiring group we have found the perfect new "home" for our company and our people,” added Krijco CEO Corry van Amstel. “There are ambitious and professional and so we leave our business in solid hands."

Krijco is currently the third largest brick and mortar operator of slot machines in the Netherlands.

Waterland agreed an exclusive partnership agreement with electronic table games supplier Interblock earlier this year.
