Leading online poker site BodogLife.com has announced that players returning to the site this week will find a new look after two year’s of testing and player feedback.
The site is licensed by Canada’s Morris Mohawk Gaming Group and stated that key features of the revamp included better positioned and sized cards to make it easier to access the state of a hand.
The new look sees the layout of players now creating a non-linear circular line to provide easy-to-follow action from player to player with each hand. There is also a centralised ‘dash board’ lay-out for player controls for easy in-hand action with chip stacks and bet vales clearly marked by denomination.
BodogLife.com stated that this is the first step in a series of new features that the poker site will introduce over the next several months. The revamp will be automatically delivered to new sign-ups with existing players having the option to upgrade to the new software.
Other new features include the highlighting of the player who is 'on action' with a softly diffused spotlight alongside a countdown timer displayed to indicate how much time he has to act.
Finally, multiple felt colour options are provided along with brightness control to allowing for user personalisation with all of a player's action clearly displayed from their position.
