The World Poker Tour has a new hostess. Having failed to fit in during season four of the series, Californian newsreader Courtney Friel has been told she is surplus to requirements. Her replacement will actress and model Sabina Gadecki. She has already shot her first WOT segments for season five at the Mirage Poker Showdown. Needless to say, WPT chief Steve Lipscomb is very pleased. “She emerged as the right fit because of the star qualities she naturally exhibits,” he gushed. Naturally, this means that she’s extremely good looking and is the perfect face for the WPT. Gadecki has little previous experience in the field and was first noticed as a model rather than a presenter. She was plucked from the crowd of MTV’s Total Request Live and asked to audition for model jobs, landing herself in the pages of Seventeen and Redbook. The WT are hoping she can help win even more doe-eyed male viewers over the coming months.
