Online poker room PokerStars.com has announced the addition of four new players to its Team PokerStars set to travel the globe playing in the biggest poker tournaments.
Canadian Tuan Lam, South African Raymond Rahme, Italian Dario Minieri and American Hevad Khan all shined brightly at this year’s World Series Of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, Nevada. They now join the group of 19 veteran and up-and-coming poker players that includes 2005 WSOP Champion Joe Hachem, World Poker Tour Ladies Night Out Winner Isabelle Mercier, 2004 WSOP Champion Greg Raymer, poker legend Daniel Negreanu and 2003 WSOP Champion Chris Moneymaker.
Lam, Rahme and Khan were all WSOP Main Event final table participants this year with Lam finishing as runner-up to Champion Jerry Yang. Rahme finished third in the Main Event with Khan in sixth spot. Minieri finished in the money twice at this summer’s WSOP while also finishing third in a European Poker Tour event last year.
“Despite being from completely different walks of life and experience, all four players exemplify the talent, professionalism and competitive spirit upon which PokerStars prides itself,'' said Joe Hachem.
