Nacho Barbero Blows as SCOOP Pressure Mounts

PokerStars' latest SCOOP festival continued last night and while a selection of players were bagging potential life changing scores, it was one of the site's pro players that was capturing the attention of the rail.

Argentina's Nacho Barbero has represented PokerStars like a true professional for a number of years but last night he found the pressure of variance a little too much to handle in the final of Event #5 (Medium).

Having made his way past more than 300 players in the $215 Badugi event, Barbero found himself heads-up with Germany's 'kuhns89' for the title.

Despite seemingly outplaying his opponent he was unable to catch a slice of luck and in an outburst probably not appreciated by his employers he typed in the chat box, "How can I destroy you and lose? Is so rigged."

'kuhns89' replied with a simple 'cmon' before raking in the last of his opponent's chips, the $12,129 top prize and his first SCOOP title.

Away from Barbero's outburst, more than 24 tournaments have taken place including the $700 Heads-Up event which attracted 765 runners last night.
Amongst the players making it into the money but falling just short of the title was Chris Moneymaker (24th - $4,609) and Toby Lewis (18th - $4,609), Niall Farrell (16th - $8,800) and Annette Obrestad ($16,350).

However, when the betting was over it was Portugal's 'RuiNF' who took the title and $78,469 after beating 'superkid-bam' in his final match.
