The GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions, in association with PokerStars, continued to add names to its pre-registration roster recently according to a report in macaubusiness.com.

Having already unveiled a list of high profile names at the start of May, the organisers have now hinted that the number of runners is already confirmed at 70.

The $129,000 Super High Roller (double rebuy) kicks off inside PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams, Macau, ton June 4 and a host of top talent, including Gus Hansen, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and Greg Merson, are all expected to play.

Indeed, hopes are high for the four day event, with organisers predicting the final number of runners will top 100. Such a turnout would help make it the richest tournament outside of the WSOP and yet another Asian attracting for the poker world’s elite.

The GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions will host some of the world’s best players between June 4 and 7 before the head off to Las Vegas to join this year’s WSOP frivolities.
