Mizrachi Grinds Out Sponsorship Deal

Mizrachi Grinds Out Sponsorship Deal

Tuesday, 3 March 2015

Michael "the sponsorship grinder" Mizrachi has thrown his support behind another product this month, this time in the form of a company that specialises in last longer bets.

The US pro's latest venture, Blast Longer, essentially places users a pool and the player that lasts the longest will win the pot.

The amount of money players can buy-in for will differ, but the outcome is always the same: he/she that last longer will win the side bet. At present the platform, which us available both online and as an app, can only be used for online MTTs; however, the plan in the coming months is to add functionality for live events, such as the WSOP.

Aside from offering an automated way to make side bets, the product will also help avoid any disputes between players. Acting as a digital escrow, the app will store the money and only release it once a result has been confirmed.

Commenting on his latest endorsement, Mizrachi said:

"The player in each blast who lasts longest in the tournament wins the pot. Each tournament will have multiple pots at different bet levels: 10 percent, 25 percent, and 50 percent of the buy-in for online tournaments, and one percent, three percent, five percent, and 10 percent of the buy-in for live tournaments."

The product is currently in a Beta testing phase and a full release is expected within the coming weeks.
