Microgaming’s New Look

Microgaming’s New Look

Monday, 12 November 2012

In an effort to remain competitive and continue to offer their customers the best possible service, the Microgaming Network has completely overhauled their software interface.

Having welcomed Betsson to the network last week, Microgaming unveiled their redesigned lobby with the aforementioned Betsson being one of the first rooms to adopt the new look site. At present only a handful of the network’s rooms have been given the reshaped looked, however, over the coming weeks all of Microgaming’s rooms will bear the new design.

One of the major influences behind the new look was Betsson, with the network’s PR team stating that it was “integral in shaping the design and functions” of Microgaming’s new lobby.

One of the major features to change is the navigation system. Having removed the left-hand sidebar, the designers have replaced it with a tab system that makes it much easier for players to find the games they want.
Beyond this change is the prominence of the bad beat jackpot. Being one of the only networks that still offer a jackpot, the site now display he running total at the top of the lobby, giving users even more incentive to play on the site.

At present, Microgaming are sitting in 10th place on PokerScout’s rankings, but it’s hoped the addition of Betsson will help improve their player liquidity.
