It's that time of year when poker players can win huge sums for miniscule buy-ins as the online PokerStars MicroMillions festival makes a very welcome return.
A total of $5 million in prize money will be won in 100 events starting from today. For the first time, Zoom Poker tournaments are in the line up with $75,000 and $50,000 to be won on 14 and 17 March respectively.Other highlights from next month's series include the $22 Main Event on 24 March which features a massive million dollar guarantee with the winner will boosting their bankroll by a cool $150,000. The action should get off to a flying start with a 1$ 3x turbo rebuy contest which comes complete with a $150,000 guarantee. As befits the global reach of the world's biggest site (with the exception of our US friends, for the time being at least) PokerStars will host up to ten tournaments a day and around the clock start times to suit people from around the globe. One player who'll definitely be getting stuck into the small stakes action is Team Online member Andre 'acoimbra' Coimbra, “As part of my $100 to $100,000 bankroll challenge this year, I’ll be playing a lot of MicroMillions tourneys over the next couple of weeks. It’s such a fun series and it’s one where players of all abilities and bankroll levels can take part to win huge prizes.”The full MicroMillions schedule is available here.New players can enjoy the MicroMillions action with a 100% first deposit bonus of up to $500.
