Michael Traylor holds huge lead at WSOP Circuit

Tuesday, 23 November 2010

After two days the couple of hundred players who paid up the $5,000 necessary to compete in the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe have been whittled down to just nine with Michael Traylor holding over a third of the chips at the final.

Each of the nine remaining players is guaranteed a payout of at least $8,000 but manoeuvring your way to first place results in a prize of over $80,000 plus a WSOP Circuit ring, a ticket to May’s National Championship and a place in the WSOP Main Event for 2011. Currently Traylor is the overwhelming favourite with a chip lead double that of second place Ned Mantua. But this is tournament poker and anything can happen.

The full final table standings by seat are as follows:

1.Dan Black – 585,000
2.Donna Jetter – 111,000
3.John McNeilly – 263,000
4.Joe Mongkol-au-aree – 287,000
5.Michael Traylor – 1,843,000
6.Drew Caseri – 164,000
7.Grant Hillman – 484,000
8.Ned Mantua – 945,000
9.Stanley Quinn – 377,000
