McLean Leads Unibet Open Day 1B

Saturday, 29 November 2014

A prize pool of £319,200 will be won at Aspers Casino in Stratford this weekend as a guarantee-busting Unibet Open London approaches the business end of proceedings.

198 hopefuls started yesterday's opening flight with Irish Open organiser Stephen McLean (309,200) leading the way. Other familiar figures to prosper during the second opening flight included Iaron Lightbourne (250,500), double Unibet Open finalist Tomasz Kozub (119,500), recent Estrellas Poker Tour Barcelona runner-up Alex Goulder (108,600), Mike “Da Bookie” Hill (66,800) and Danish grinder Martin Wendt (42,000).

One man who won't be chasing a big live score is Viktor Blom. The Swede busted on Friday, as did Unibet ambassadors Paul Valkenburg and Dan Glimne.

140 players will be back for today's Day 2 action which gets under way this afternoon. 45 will make the money with the min-cash set at £1,800. The eventual winner is set to pocket a cool £70,000.

Follow all the action via our feature table live stream which airs at BluffEurope.com from 2pm.
