Max Silver Tops UKIPT Dublin

Saturday, 1 March 2014

Railbirds are used to seeing Max Silver at the top of the leader board at UKIPT Dublin. After winning in 2010 and finishing fourth in 2011, Silver is at it again, building a big chip lead heading into today's day two action.

After a slew of eliminations, the Englishman will return with 311,700, more than double the chips of his closest rival, Marc Kennedy (143,900).

456 players took to the day 1B tables with 205 of them surviving the eight levels of play. Notable survivors included Ludovic Geilich (138,900), Lee Jones (95,800), Tom Hall (62,700) and Full Tilt Amassadors Martins Adeniya (50,300) and Sin Melin (37,400).

309 players will resume battle this lunchtime, hoping for a share of a guarantee busting prize pool of €463,078. 103 of them will make at least €1,250 with the eventual winner set to pocket €87,700.
