Max Silver Heads PCA Main Event With 72 Left

British pro Max Silver is the man to beat heading into day 4 of the $10,000 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event.

The 23-year-old is a well known face on the UK tournament circuit thanks largely to a string of impressive perfomances in the UKIPT, including a win in Dublin. Silver closed day 3 with a stack of 1,453,000, just ahead of Roger Teska (1,406,000) and Kyle Sorel (1,132,000) who were the only other players to crack seven figures.

72 players are still in the hunt for the $1.8m first prize and amongst their number are plenty of notable names. Vanessa Selbst, fresh from a big win in the Super High Roller, returns in fifth on 911,000. Nestled in the middle of the pack are Jude Ainsworth (680,000), Antoine Saout (66,800) and Thomas Hall (430,000). With more work to do are Mike McDonald (355,000), Marcel Luske (320,000) and Liv Boeree (115,000).

All of the remaining players a guaranteed a pay day of at least $22,800.
