Marvin's Chicken Dinner in Kiev

Marvin Rettenmaier added another notch to his impressive tournament résumé last night after taking down the Eurasian Poker Tour title in Kiev.

Although not one of the circuit's most renowned tournaments, the EAPT $1,850 Main Event attracted 160 entrants over the course of two starting days, including the UK's Will Dorey, Alexander Kravchenko and Chino Rheem.

However, when the final few were just a few pots away from the $73,930 top prize it was Rettenmaier who dominated the action.

Having made his way past the bulk of the competition, including Dorey, Marvin then found himself locked in a virtual stalemate with Russia's Emil Eranosyan.

After battling back-and-forth for four hours it was the German pro that eventually came out on top to claim another tournament title and take his lifetime winnings beyond the $4.4 million mark.

After the win Marvin was quick to take to Facebook to post: "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!! Won the Eurasian Poker Tour Kiev after an exhausting 4h heads up battle!!!"

EAPT Kiev Final Result:
Marvin Rettenmaier - $73,930
Emil Eranosyan - $51,770
Will Dorey - $33,300
Hristo Genov - $24,660

Farrukh Akhmetjanov - $14,800
Petr Glazko - $12,290
