Marmion leads WPT Marrakech - ElkY and Duhamel loom large

Saturday, 26 November 2011

Irishman Ian Marmion holds the chip lead going into day 3 of WPT Marrakech. Marmion, who is based in Spain, closed the day on 379,000 chips putting him just one big blind ahead of Fadhil Farag who returns with 373,500.

Looming large though are a couple of very high profile names. 2010 WSOP Main Event winner Jonathan Duhamel sits in third on the leader board with 364,500 with Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier in fifth 293,500. A total of 50 players are still in the hunt for the $267,000 first prize including Sam El Sayed 246,000, the best thing to come from Wolverhampton since Steve Bull, Surinder Sunar 180,000 and Arnaud Mattern 131,000.
