Mark Trett wins Leg Three of the British Masters Poker Tour

108 players gathered for the third leg of the British Masters Poker Tour at the Gala Casino in Stockton-on-Tees over the weekend. Newcastle’s Mark Trett emerged victorious in the £500 buy-in main claiming the first prize of £12,650.

Trett sealed the win beating Dom Mahoney heads up. The chips went in with Trett holding Jh5h and Mahoney 8s2s on a 9d10sAdJs board. The river brought the 5 of clubs to give the Geordie the win.

Barry Neville won the 118-runner £200 side event, taking home a first prize of £4,950.


The tour now heads to Nottingham from 14th to 16th August with further stops in Liverpool and Bristol in September and October respectively.
