Plenty of familiar faces were on hand for the day 1B at the PokerStars UKIPT Isle of Man yesterday with the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Ike Haxton and Jake Cody taking to the tables at the Villa Marina.

By the close of play it was a Mark Lane who had established a chunky chip lead. The Geordie won the Edinburgh leg of the Genting Poker Series last month and his good form continued yesterday. He'll be back today with 165,300. Joining Lane at the top of the leader board were Simon Fuller (127,700) and Sam Grafton (127,000).

161 of the 359 starters will be competing for the £485,000 prize pool with 55 making the money. Amomgst that number are plenty of notables including Nick Abou Risk, Sam Razavi, Liv Boeree, Barry Greenstein, Jack Ellwood, Simon Deadman, Mickey Petersen, Max Silver, Martins Adeniya, John Eames and Jake Cody.

Railbirds will be able to follow all the action from the final two days courtesy of PokerStars.TV with James Hartigan and our own Nick Wealthall on commentary duties. The stream starts at noon.
