Marc Foggin wins Dusk Till Dawn Deepstack for over £30,000

Monday, 6 December 2010

Those of us not sitting pretty (ish) in London and the South of England have been able to move about without strapping tennis racquets to our trainers but those of us up t’North(ish) haven’t been so lucky with several inches of snow immobilising parts of Britain.

This includes Nottingham but despite this, poker players will be poker players. Almost three hundred of them travelled to Dusk Till Dawn , the UK’s premier poker club outside of London (and arguably including it) to play out the monthly £100,000 guaranteed deepstack event.

Last month 459 players entered the £336 buy-in event that featured a 45-minute clock and 10,000 starting chips. The 285 players meant an overlay of around £15,000 and Marc Foggin secured the top prize after defeating Dan Finch heads-up.

The full final table payouts were as follows:

1.Marc Foggin £31,183.75
2.Dan Finch £18,230.50
3.Aleksandrs Golubevs £10,938.30
4.Miles Mckenzie £7,676.00
5.Michael Jones £5,757.00
6.Gerald Mcinally £4,317.75
7.Paul Mcdermott £,3358.25
8.Richard Blacklock £2,398.75
9.Stephen Holloway £1,919.00
