Manchester’s footballers set for a poker clash?

The recent Manchester United versus Manchester City Carling Cup clashes have been some of the most compelling matches of the season and if reports in Sunday’s News of the World are to be believed then rivalries could be resumed at the poker table.
According to the paper, United defender Wes Brown has invited a number of players from both United and City to take part in a Las Vegas themed night at Mere Golf Club.
The word is that several of the United team fancy following in the footsteps of former Old Trafford favourite Teddy Sheringham who has had some major success at the poker table.
