Luke Schwartz and Annette Obrestad make Poker Million semi final

Peter Vasilou is the surprise name in the first semi final of the 2009 Full Tilt Poker Million. The online qualifier outlasted former Poker Million champion John Duthie, EPT winners Joao Barbosa and Mike McDonald and fellow qualifier Adam Carey before beating WPT winner Gavin Smith heads up in the runner up turbo qualifier.

The travel consultant from Woolwich will join inaugural WSOPE winner Annette Obrestad, Brighton and Hove Albion chairman and tournament regular Tony Bloom, Juha Helppi, Nam Le, Paul Zimbler and Luke “_FullFlush1_” Schwartz on 9th October for the first semi final.


The second set of heats take place from 6th to 8th of October with a host of top names including Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer, Tom ‘Durrr’ Dwan, JC Tran and Bluff Europe’s own academy coach Phil Laak set to battle it out for a place in December’s live final.
