The PokerStars EPT Deauville field has been whittled down to 8 players from a starting field of nearly 900, with each player guaranteed €67,200. Leading the way is Paul Guichard, but all eyes are on Luca Pagano.

Pagano is something of a legend on the EPT as this marks his record-extending 20th cash. Not only this, but this is his seventh final table on the European Poker Tour and he will be looking to take his first title. He is fourth in the chip counts.

Leading the way is Paul Guichard, one of the most successful grinders on PokerStars.fr. He has just a few more chips than second place Vadzim Kursevich. The winner of the event takes home €870,000.

The chip counts going into the final table are as follows:

Paul Guichard 5,955,000
Vadzim Kursevich 5,670,000

Vuong Than Trong 2,570,000
