The London Poker Festival

The London Poker Festival

Friday, 3 August 2012

Because they refuse to have poker in the Olympics, the UK poker community, galvanised by Bluff Europe, has decided to hold its very own “pokerlympics” throughout the month of September.

Ladies and gents, in association with the card rooms of the London, we bring you the London Poker Festival, a calendar, music, comedy, special events, parties and, of course, poker tournaments in which players compete sitting down and even the British weather cannot spoil.

With over £1m in prize money, the London Poker Festival takes in major events, such as the English Poker Open, the GUKPT, the Unibet Open and the LCI UK Poker Tour.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the British Poker Awards in which we honour the truly outstanding personalities and performances in the world of poker this year. And it’s up to you to decide. Voting is live now at www.thebritishpokerawards.com, where you can nominate your favourite players, personalities, forums, bloggers and poker leagues. The awards will be presented at a glittering ceremony on board the HMS President on London’s Victoria Embankment.

All in all, the London Poker Festival is a celebration of London’s vibrant poker community – with something for everyone, so get involved! Visit www.londonpokerfestival.com for a full schedule of events.
