Black Belt Poker Academy returns

Wednesday, 5 September 2012

Struggling to beat the aggro merchants who three and four bet your every raise? Help is at hand courtesy of the Black Belt Poker Academy which returns to the Bluff @ The Mint Cardroom in South Kensington this Saturday.

Entitled Preflop Aggro! How to Beat the Kids at Their Own Game, the seminar will be all about how to adjust to the more aggressive pre-flop game and how to develop a successful strategy to fight back against it. Starting at 1pm, this exciting session will feature six hours of tuition, including talks and workshops with some of BlackBeltPoker’s finest minds.

“I'm really looking forward to a crazy September of tournaments in London. I've taken a break and I'm ready." Neil Channing, CEO of Black Belt and former Irish Open Champion, said. "If you feel you really aren't quite ready for the barrage of three and four bets that are going to be coming at you in the trenches, it sounds like you might need our academy. It's designed to help old guys like me to defend themselves from the onslaught of the kids.”

Lunch and soft drinks are thrown in too, all for the bargain price of £99. And if that’s too steep, you can try and qualify for free at BlackBeltPoker.com.
