Tournament junkies in London will be heading to The Vic this week for the London Poker Championship which gets under way this evening.

A total of seven events are scheduled including a variety of hold'em, PLO, six-max and bounty tournaments culminating in a £300+£30 which starts on Saturday.


182 players battled it out for the London Poker Championship title last year generating a prize pool of almost £55,000. This year's Main Event promises to be even bigger with two opening flights starting at 2pm and 7pm.


The full tournament schedule is as follows:


Monday 18th - £200 + £20 NL Hold'em Freezeout - 100 player cap - 7:30pm start - 25 min clock - 10,000 stack.


Tuesday 19th - £150 + £15 NL Hold'em Deep & Steep Freezeout - 100 player cap - 7:30pm start - 15 min clock - 15,000 stack.


Wednesday 20th - £200 + £20 PL Omaha Freezeout - 100 player cap - 7:30pm start - 25 min clock - 10,000 stack.


Wednesday 20th - £50 + £7 Main Event Super Satellite (£330 ticket) NL Hold'em Freezeout - 60 player cap - 8:30pm start - 25 min clock - 5,000 stack.


Thursday 21st - £250 + £25 NL Hold'em 6-Max Freezeout - 72 player cap - 7:30pm start - 25 min clock - 10,000 stack.


Friday 22nd - £50 + £7 Main Event Super Satellite (£330 ticket) NL Hold'em Freezeout - 60 player cap - 7:30pm start - 25 min clock - 5,000 stack.


Saturday 23rd - £300 + £30 Main Event NL Hold'em Freezeout FLIGHT 1 - 100 player cap - 2pm start - 40 min clock - 15,000 stack.


Saturday 23rd - £300 + £30 Main Event NL Hold'em Freezeout FLIGHT 2 - 100 player cap - 7pm start - 40 min clock - 15,000 stack.


Sunday 24th - Main Event Final Day - 2pm start.


Sunday 24th - £150 + £15 NL Hold'em Bounty Freezeout (£25 Bounty) - 80 player cap - 5pm start - 25 min clock - 7,500 stack.


Sunday 24th - £100 + £12 NL Hold'em Deep & Steep Freezeout - 60 player cap - 7:30pm start - 15 min clock - 15,000 stack.
