Living The Dream

Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes have named the first four players to win main event seats at the upcoming CPT Punta Cana as part of its ongoing Living The Dream promotion.

First to become part of the Living The Dream team is 32-year-old Austrian pro Daniel Montagnolli. Having recently quit his job to become a full-time player, Montagnolli is now hoping to repeat the success he had in the Caribbean last autumn where he cashed for $1,600 and parlay recent online successes into the land-based arena.

Also joining the team heading to the Dominican Republic is Neil Slade from the UK. A full-time builder and part-time grinder, Slade has won many satellites in his time but he's now looking forward to another trip to Punta Cana after finishing sixth in 2013 for $9,000.

Derek Scallon and Steven Loney make up the final two players in the team of four. Scallon is a professional player from Chicago who is most famous for his poker documentary, Bet Raise Fold, while Loney is a casual player.

The next satellite for a place in the Living The Dream team will take place tomorrow and online poker aficionados can get in on the action for just a few dollars. If that's too soon for you to get your stuff together, then a final satellite is set to take place at Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes on September 23 where one player will scoop the final $4,000 package.
