Live coverage of the Partouche Poker Open final on Eurosport

Tuesday, 17 November 2009

It looks like there could actually be something worth watching on Eurosport this Sunday. Hidden amongst the seemingly endless coverage of cross country skiing, handball and bobsleigh will be live coverage of the final table of the Partouche Poker Open from the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes.

Live coverage of the €3m guaranteed event starts at 8pm UK time. 2009 English Poker Open runner up Michael Tureniec (pictured above) is in prime position to add to his fine tournament record and claim the €1m first prize.

The Swedish pro, who was runner up in the 2008 EPT London, has a stack of over 3 million chips, around 250,000 more than closest rival Cedric Rossi. Joining them at the final table will be Gianni Giaroni, Michel Javier, Hassan Fares, WSOP Main Event casher Mika Puumalainen, Jean-Paul Aquiline, Wesley Pantling and Henri Kuttenen.
