Liv Boeree to open Poker in the Park festivities

She's won massive amounts of cash at the poker tables, studied astrophysics and has a penchant for heavy metal and now Liv Boeree will have the honour of opening the world's largest poker festival, Poker in the Park.
The model turned poker pro will be cutting the ceremonial ribbon in Leicester Square at 4pm on Thursday 2nd September and with plenty of opportunities for photos and autographs. Liv is quite the renaissance woman as in addition to poker winnings of nearly $2m she is a TV regular, sometime model, part time astrophycisist and recreational guitarist. Bluff Europe doesn't think there's anyone better qualified to officially open such a prestigious event!
Liv began her career as a model and TV presenter before moving to poker. After some ladies’ victories and a series of cashes establishing her presence in the poker tournament circuit she was rewarded for her hard work with a victory for €1.2m in the EPT San Remo event in May.
Ms Boeree will open the two-day poker extravaganza to over 20,000 poker enthusiasts who will flood London’s Leicester Square on September 2-3. Full details are available at
