Liam Batey's GUKPT 25/25 Double

Tuesday, 9 December 2014

After double triumphs for Alessio Isaia in Italy and Keith Brennan in Ireland, Liam Batey has repeated the trick in England, becoming the first player to win two GUKPT 25/25 events.

Batey bagged the first half of his brace in Sheffield in October and completed it after topping an 80-runner field at the Grosvenor Casino in Nottingham over the weekend.

The latest effort netted the Nottingham native a first prize of £7,875 after he defeated Steve Brown to the title.
