Poker fans in Yorkshire will be heading to the Alea Casino in Leeds next month for the Alea Spring Poker Festival. The five-day event feature a variety of games and formats with buy-ins starting from just £25 with top billing going to the £250+£25 Main Event.

The full schedule is as follows:


Thursday 6th May
No limit Hold’em unlimited re buys for the first two levels
500 added to the prize pool
7pm start, alternates for the first 2 levels - £20+£5 registration


Friday 7th May
No limit Hold’em Freezeout
£1000 added to the Prize Pool
7pm start, alternates for the first 2 levels - £100+£10 registration


Saturday 8th May
Main Event No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Freezeout
Prize pool guaranteed £12.5k for 40 players – two day event
3pm start on Saturday & Sunday, alternates for the first two levels - £250 +£25 registration


Sunday 9th May
PL Omaha, one re buy or one add on
£500 added to the prize pool
8pm start, alternates for the first two levels - £50 + £5 registration


Monday 10th May
£50 with one re buy and one add on
6.30pm start, alternates for the first two levels.
Charity poker event in aid of ‘Cash for Kids’ – FREE REGISTRATION


There's a £25+£2.50 freezout tomorrow night at with a pair of seats for the £250+£25 buy-in Main Event up for grabs.
